Utica City Services - Response to Mayor's Release 6/13/24
Dear Friends of Anita’s Stevens Swan Humane Society,
Much to our disappointment, the city of Utica Mayor Galime has chosen to publish critical comments in defense of his decision to take an alternative approach to managing the city’s stray animals. Given the false and misleading nature of his public comments, we want to share with you our response which includes important facts about the Humane Society’s history serving the city and the region, and our concerns about the potential negative impacts of the direction the city has chosen to take.
